Mark Duvall, CFA, has more than 25 years of direct experience designing and implementing effective investment solutions for high net worth clients and institutional investors. Mark leads the firm’s investment research, advisory and management functions. Mark is responsible for determining the asset allocation strategy selection and heads the wealth management division.
Prior to joining Opes Advisors, Mark held the position of Senior Investment Counselor for Wells Fargo Private Client Services where he managed $1.2 billion in private wealth assets. Mark was selected to lead investment consulting efforts on California relationships larger than $25 million and was responsible for research and stock selection in several industries for both US and foreign securities on investment teams responsible for over $2 billion in assets.
Mark received the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 1991 from the CFA Institute. This is the most highly regarded designation for those in money management and investment research fields. Mark is a cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College in government, including an academic citation in international political economy. Mark also studied at the London School of Economics.
